Leading the fight against identity theft

A victim of identity theft himself, John W. Scherer, CEO and Founder of Video Professor, is leading the fight to protect others from a similar fate.

Appearing on numerous national broadcasts, Scherer has embarked upon a one-man crusade to stop identity thieves in their tracks. By increasing general awareness and exposing the tactics used by identity thieves, Scherer hopes to encourage the public to take the necessary measures to prevent future attacks.

Scherer has also produced a new line of Video Professor Personal Internet Security products including the Identity Theft Protection & Recovery lesson and security software that comes complete with “how-to” tutorials.

These days, protecting your personal information from online intruders is no small feat. But because of consumer advocates like John W. Scherer, it certainly isn’t an impossible endeavor.
