The spirit of philanthropy runs deep in the employees of Video Professor. It's this spirit that led to the creation of Seasons Club, Video Professor's employee philanthropy club.
Working lunches and after business hours, club members meet frequently plan and execute their acts of kindness. Several worthy organizations have reaped the benefits of their teamwork, dedication, and generosity. Take a look below to read more about past and upcoming Seasons Club projects.
Denver Mission Homeless Shelter's Easter Basket and Hope Tote Drive
This Easter, the Seasons Club is determined to provide each man, woman, and child at the Denver Mission Homeless Shelter with an Easter gift. Easter baskets will be filled with stuffed animals and festive goodies to put smiles on the faces of each child. For the adults, hope totes will contain everyday necessities: soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, tissues, shoelaces, socks, and towels.
The Salvation Army's Angel Tree
The holiday season is always a little brighter for over hundreds of children and seniors who receive Christmas presents from Video Professor employees. Gifts of warm blankets, clothing, books, and toys are donated to spread holiday cheer to those who might not have a Christmas otherwise.
The Soldiers' Angels Project
The holidays can be a lonely time for American troops serving overseas. In an attempt to ease these feelings of homesickness, Video Professor employees "adopt" soldiers serving in Iraq. Each week, letters and e-mails bearing words of friendship, gratitude, and support are sent to these brave men and women. Care packages filled with toiletries, games, and homemade goodies are also sent off each month as an ongoing expression of our support for the troops!
Jeffco Action Center Food Drive
Each holiday season, the Jefferson County Food Drive collects canned and boxed goods for the hungry. Video Professor employees are proud to contribute to the cause.
